Kick start your day with these high protein breakfast ideas, which are low calorie and set to fill you for hours.
- Egg ham and cheese muffins

You can make them in batches and simply heat for 30 seconds in the microwave, so are brilliant for when you're in a rush!
Makes 12 muffins
Ingredients:
- 3 eggs
- 5 egg whites
- 3 slices of ham, chopped
- 1 medium diced onion
- 60g of 50% less fat cheese
- Salt
- Vegetable's of choice
- Frylight spray
Method:
- Whisk eggs and egg whites in a bowl
- Add the rest of the ingredients to the bowl and mix
- Spray a muffin tray with frylight
- Evenly distribute the mixture into muffin tray
- Bake at 180c for 10 minutes, or until cooked.
- Fruit and protein smoothie

This fruit protein smoothie is delicious, low calorie, and packed with nutrients.
Ingredients:
- 100g strawberries
- 1 frozen banana
- 1tsp vanilla extract
- 400ml of milk
- 50g whey protein
Method:
- Blend all ingredients until thick and all lumps have gone, then serve!
- Turkey/chicken sausage sandwich

Okay, this one is a bit of a cop out. However, it is a high protein, low fat breakfast which is great to grab when you are rushing out the door! For optimal convenience, cook the sausages the night before, then simply re-heat in a microwave for 1 minute the following day.
